Knitwear shoot in countryside

4-5th April 2012

I had a great chance working on this amazing project in the countryside 40 minutes from Leeds.
We started with a long 4 hours drive from sunny London, and went through every weather condition possible on the way :) Snow.. rain.. both.. sun.. :) When we got to the location, I was soo impressed by the views around me. We were on the big hill, and all you could see around was other hills with snow on top and a little houses far fro each other. Was great to run away from busy and fast London to this tranquil location. Our shoots were all outside, but luckily we were shooting 2012 A/W knitwear collection, which ill be featured in John Lewis and Liberty shopping centers, and catalogues and stuff as well ;]
We got quite late to the location on 4th April, so there wasn't much shooting that day as we used sun light only, so we decided to go and check out the town and grab some food. There were 3 pubs only in the whole area... And only 2 of them served food :)) But luckily we grabbed some Indian and got back to the hotel for great 4hours sleep, as we had to start shooting with rising sun ;] It wasn't the best part haha, as I am such a sleepy head ;]
It was really nice experience, loved the simplicity of the shoot. The make up was very minimal and natural, outfits were very simple but stylish and the most amazing feeling was running with wellies in the forests and posing all day outdoors with fresh air and beautiful views..

Here are some pictures from the shoot ;] Was so busy taking pictures of the view, forgot to take pictures of the outfits and me :D but who cares... enjoy the view!

Love,
Juste

Cool Britannia Photoshoot

3rd April 2012
Hello there!

Today I had crazy early start as I had to wake up at 6am as we start shooting at 8.30am in Farnham Castle! Quite excited, as I love shooting in locations. All I know about the shoot in the morning is, that I have funky look.. two bulldogs.. Mini Cooper with british flag.. and.. umm a horse... So I was really excited on the way to the shoot, figuring out in my head what will everything look like :)
I had a pleasure working with:

Wedding Dresses - Madeline Isaac-James
Flowers - Evelyn Cole Flowers
Hats - Beverley Edmondson Millinery
Hair - Elise Wedding Hair Stylist
Make-up - Joyce Connor, Brides and Beauty
Cakes - Emma from Gifted Heart
Party cake pops - Party Pop Bakery
Sweets, milk bottles and straws - Pipii
Paper pom poms - Party Poms
Venue - Farnham Castle
Mini-Cooper - Barons of Farnborough
Indoor chairs & garden set - Stress Free Hire
LED candles, fire & uplighters - Stress Free Hire
Stationary - Glasshouse Stationery
Models - Juste Juozapaityte & Elizabeth Pick

Here is the link of few preview shots. They are quite funky but sweet at the same time!

I really really enjoyed the shoot, and the weather was great! Location was beautiful and the team was lovely! I had two massive bulldogs on one of the looks, and they were so strong! They were just dragging me around the garden and everyone was laughing :))) not much of a posing there was.. :)
And the scariest part was in the stables, I am scared of horses! and I had to hold one right next to my face.. Lady from stables told me to be very confident and hold it strong otherwise horse can take over the control.. But I was still shaking, the horse probably couldn't be bothered to kick off on me, as I was pretty useless next to it :))))))

I attached few backstage pictures. Have a sneak peek. Hopefully You like it, and lets wait for the final photos to come through!

Lots of Love,
Juste

A little about me

Hello!
My name is Juste Juozapaityte. Originally I am from Lithuania, small seaside resort called Palanga.
I moved to London in 2008, like everyone else, looking for big opportunities and fantastic life.
After almost 4 years, I can't say I have achieved my all goals, but still working on it slowly but surely! :)
I have been working as a model for quite a few years now. In 2011 I went on Britain and Ireland Next Top Model show, which gave me another head-start in modeling industry.

I never thought I will start my own blog, as I thought my life is too boring and not special, that other people will not waste their time reading it.. But many people asked me to start one, and actually when I think about it.. My life is so damn interesting and unusual! I meet so many different people, work on so many crazy projects and go to the most amazing events.. I HAVE to tell you about it!!!

I always joke that I have a picture of everything on my phone, so from now on I am going to share with you what my life looks like. Hope you will enjoy as much as I will! See you soon!
